Mica-type high-pressure water level gauge is an ultra-high temperature and ultra-high pres-sure water level indicator, available in single-color and dual-color types, as well as regularand blind-spot-free versions. The dual-color type features a new structure and light sourcein its lighting system, simplifying the design and further enhancing the display effect. It is aspecialized blind-spot-free display instrument that can be paired with a television monitor-ing system to achieve remote water level surveillance capabilities.It is used for monitoring the water level in steam drums and various gas storage vessels inlarge thermal power generating units, metallurgy,petrochemical, and other industries. It isan essential instrument for high-temperature and high-pressure water (liquid) level moni-toring in industrial control processes. When matched with a television monitoring system,it can achieve long-distance video detection.
It has the advantages of intuitive, clear, and continuous (blind-spot-free type)display, safeand reliable operation, and convenient maintenance.
Principle 
This water level indicator consists of a main body, valve (cock), casing, light source, andpower regulator (for the dual-color type) system. The water level gauge has a series ofobservation holes on the main body, or two sets ofintersecting combinations to eliminate the display blind spots within the visible range.It is connected to the steam and liquid parts of the boiler drum or other pressure vessels through the upper and lower steam and liquidvalves,forming a communicating vessel. By utilizing the principle of the communicating vessel,it maintains the same water level height

as that inside the boiler drum or other pressure vessels.The LED emitter at the back of the dual-color type emits red and green light, which are directed to the observation window of the mainbody. The red lightis directed straight ahead to the steam phase, while the green light is absorbed bythe wall; in the liquid phase, due tothe refraction caused by water, the green lightis directed straight ahead, and the red light is absorbed by the wallatan angle. Therefore,what is observed straight aheadin the observation windowis the effect of steam red and water green,thatis,full steam appears complete-ly red, and full water appears completely green, providing a high-definition red and green display effect.

The water level gauge has the following characteristics:

Direct Level Indication: Vertical scales and red/green indicator strips directly display the liquidlevel height, facilitating on-site visual monitoring.Non-invasive/Magnetic
Coupling Transmission: If designed with a magnetic coupling float,theindicating part does not come into direct contact with the measured medium, offering high re-liability and low maintenance.

Multi-point/Electric Contact Output: It can be equipped with multiple electric contact switch-es (float contacts)for liquid level alarms or interlocking control.
Corrosion-resistant Materials and Temperature and Pressure Resistance: Depending on themedium, stainless steel, alloys, or lined materials can be selected to adapt to different tem-perature and pressure conditions.

Double Flange Installation: The upper and lower flanges facilitate direct installation on theside of tanks or pipelines, ensuring reliable sealing.
